Off we go, south along the coastal road
through villages and valleys. Not a group tour with everyone
following in a pack. This is the way it should be, intimate
and personal.
40,000 years ago a eight mile wide volcano
collapsed and formed the Soufriere valley. The volcano
is part of a vent system that stretches up to St Kitts.
St Lucia’s volcano still spews gas and hot mineral
water. It’s our first stop on the Soufiere Adventure.
The Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens is
one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean.
The gardens include the famous waterfall
and a great variety of tropical trees and plants. Parts
of the garden au natural, some are formal. Bring your
camera. |
